Trade USDT to Dogecoin using MetaMask

This guide will show you how to trade USDT on Ethereum to native Dogecoin (DOGE) using MetaMask on depouch cross-chain DEX. The process is by purpose simple, allowing you to swap cryptocurrencies without needing KYC or registration

Step 1: Navigate to depouch and Connect Your Wallet

• Click the Connect Wallet button, which can be found in the upper-right corner.

• Since you are sending USDT from the Ethereum chain, choose Ethereum as the network you are sending from.
• Select MetaMask from the list of supported wallets. Ensure you have it installed in your browser. Your wallet is now connected.

Step 2: Set Up the Swap

Once your wallet is connected, go to the swap page by clicking the Swap or Swap Now button.

• Select the cryptocurrencies for your trade. You want to swap from USDT on Ethereum to Dogecoin.
• In the from field, select USDT on the Ethereum network.
• In the to field, you can search for Dogecoin or select it from the list.

Step 3: Enter Swap Details

• Paste your native Dogecoin destination address into the Destination address field. This is the address where you will receive the DOGE. You can see an example of the destination address in the screenshot above.
• Enter the amount of USDT you wish to swap.

Step 4: Review and Confirm the Swap

• Click the Swap button to review the transaction details.
• A summary will appear showing details about the swap.

• Click Confirm Swap to proceed.

Step 5: Approve and Send the Transaction in MetaMask

• To swap a token like USDT, you must first approve the spending of the token. A MetaMask pop-up will appear; click Confirm.

• After the approval transaction is submitted, a second MetaMask pop-up will appear to send the USDT. Click Confirm again.

• You can close the MetaMask extension after each confirmation.

Step 6: Track the Swap

• After confirming, you will see a Transaction submitted message, and the swap status will update on the screen.
• You can track the progress of your swap on the swap page under the Transactions list. The status will show as Swapping while it is in progress. The estimated swap time for this pair was about 24 seconds.

Step 7: Verify Receipt of Dogecoin

• Once the status updates to Completed, your Dogecoin has been sent.
• You can verify the transaction by checking your wallet or a blockchain explorer to confirm that your Dogecoin address has received the DOGE.
