Trade Dogecoin to USDT using Ctrl Wallet

Step 1: Navigate to depouch and Connect Your Wallet

Click the Connect Wallet button - You find the button in the upper-right corner.

Choose Dogecoin as the network you are sending from and select the Ctrl Wallet as the wallet to use for the trade.

Once connected, click Swap now or Swap to enter the swap page.

Step 2: Set Up the Swap Pair

  • Search for Dogecoin or DOGE, the coin to trade from.
  • Select the coin you want to swap to, in this case USDT on Ethereum.

Step 3: Enter Swap Details

  • Enter the amount of Dogecoin (DOGE) you wish to swap in the From field.
  • In the To field you will see the expected amount of USDT you will receive.
  • Paste your USDT destination address into the Desitination Address field.
The Destination Address should be an Ethereum address on any wallet. This is where you want to receive the USDT. See above for an example of an Ethereum address.

Step 4: Review and Confirm the Swap

  • Click the Swap button to review the transaction details.
  • A nice summary will appear showing you all details about the swap.

Click Confirm Swap to proceed.

Note: slippage is automatically set to protect your trade. You can adjust to a custom slippage if you want. Setting it too low can cause a larger swap to be partially refunded, if slippage tolerance is no longer met. The slippage, which might appear high for small transaction amounts due to outbound fees. A swap of around $7 with a $1 outbound fee resulted in 19% slippage, which is high. This percentage would be much lower for a larger trade.

Step 5: Approve the Transaction in Ctrl Wallet

A confirmation window will appear in your Ctrl Wallet.

Click Confirm in your wallet. Once this is done, the transaction is submitted.

Step 6: Track Your Swap

  • After the transaction is submitted, you will see your transaction in the transactions list. The transaction status will be Swapping.
  • Now just wait for the transaction status to change to Completed.

Step 7: Verify Receipt of USDT

  • Once you see the status update to Completed, your USDT has been sent.
