Trade Bitcoin to Ethereum using Ctrl Wallet

Step 1: Navigate to depouch

Step 2: Once on depouch, click Connect Wallet.

Choose Bitcoin, then select Ctrl Wallet - Ctrl Wallet ask you to connect. In that case select Connect to proceed.

Step 3: After your wallet is connected, go to the swap page by clicking the Swap Now or Swap button in the top right corner.

Step 4: Choose the coin you want to swap from and the coin you want to swap to. You can search for Bitcoin/BTC or sort by networks. Ensure Bitcoin is selected as the from coin and Ethereum/ETH as the destination coin.

Step 5: Enter the amount of Bitcoin you want to swap. Then paste in the Ethereum destination address where you want to receive the ETH on.

Step 6: After entering the swap details, click Swap. You will see a summary including the expected swap time (about 10 minutes), and details about slippage, fee, LP fee and outbound fee.

Step 7: We recommend to boost the transaction fee in Ctrl Wallet to ensure a smooth swap. In your Ctrl Wallet, press the settings button to change the transaction fee. Then, select Boost and Confirm to adjust and approve the higher fee. 

Step 8: Once the transaction is confirmed, the swap will be submitted. You will see a Transaction submitted message. The transaction status will then update as it is being processed. You can track the progress of your current transaction on the swap page.

Step 9: After some time, the status will change to Completed. To verify, you can check your ETH wallet or use a blockchain explorer and look under internal transactions since the Ether comes from a smart contract.

If you press the transaction id (TxID) in the Transactions list you will be taken to an explorer where you can see the current status of your swap.

That is how you can easily and quickly swap Bitcoin to Ethereum on depouch using Ctrl Wallet.
